COVID Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers Needed: COVID Testing Site

 

Skagit County is looking for volunteers to help at the COVID-19 drive-through testing site at Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon. Volunteers are needed to help with:

·    Directing traffic (at the main entrance, to the registration station entrance, and to the testing station entrance)

·    Helping register people (Interviewer, photographer, paperwork, runner & data entry)

·    Helping with testing (Medical RN/MD, speaker, nurse assistant & lab requisition table)

Days of Operation: Monday-Friday

Shifts:

·    All Day: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM

·    Shift 1:8:30 AM-1 PM

·    Shift 2: 11:30 AM-4:30 PM

Volunteers will be provided:

·    Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

·    Just in Time Training

·    Snacks, beverages, and lunch

Skagit Gleaners have been swamped with food donations due to COVID and are in need of volunteers for:

·    Sorting

·    Unpacking

·    Delivering

Tri Parish Food Bank needs volunteers on Fridays and Saturdays to load food into people's cars.
