ANNIVERSARY SALE VOLUNTEERS
July 16th and 17th We are holding our MASSIVE anniversary sale and we have a great need for your help! Our greatest need will be assisting shoppers, placing sold tags, hauling merchandise and answering questions. A new role is being added this year for our energetic volunteers; SIGN SPINNERS (no spinning skills required)!
NPSAR Golf Tournament Sponsor Load in
August 13th NPSAR Golf Tournament at Avalon Golf Course. Sponsor Load in. Help shuttle sponsors and their gear (tables, coolers, games) to the holes they will be manning for the day. We are hoping to find someone quick, capable of lifting, and maybe familiar with the golf course. One shift is available at 9am-11:45am. Want to learn more about this charity golf tournament? Jobsite Hospitality
We have shifts available to manage and transport hospitality items out to our construction crew. This is an occasional role that correlates with scheduled construction or outdoor work. Help us organize the beverages, snacks and PPE (gloves, goggles, sunscreen) for our construction volunteer crew. We will have a cooler and tote for these items. Transport it from its storage location (currently Mount Vernon admin office) to the job site listed and check in with the crew to let them know you're dropping supplies off and make sure they have everything they need. This role is idea for someone who likes hospitality and driving.
There is potential for this role to expand to the volunteer doing a drive, making snacks, or collecting donations of these items if that is of interest, but Skagit Habitat is happy to supply all these items for now.

Painting and Priming
Thank you so much to all the volunteers who put in those hot and hard hours in the sun to get the south facing wall at the store repaired. Now it is ready to have the finishing coat of primer applied, followed up by painting! There will be multiple shifts available for those who want to roll up their sleeves and do some hands-on work!
Administrative
Use your current skills or learn some new ones in this role! Help our admin team with a variety of tasks including scanning, shredding, record keeping and data entry. We are happy to teach those wanting to gain administrative experience.
Cleaning Party
Help us clean and prepare the last Parkside units in La Conner to be move in ready! This will be some post construction deep cleaning. This will include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows and mirrors, etc.
