Six Local Nonprofits Sharing $50,000 from Barron KARES
Six local nonprofit organizations received a cumulative total of $50,380 in the first half of 2026 from Barron KARES, an initiative to share kindness and appreciation throughout Northwest Washington.
Barron Heating AC Electrical & Plumbing selects a different charity or non-profit organization each month that holds high esteem among Team Barron and within the communities it serves. Barron KARES (Kindness, Appreciation, Response, Empathy, and Service) provides a charitable donation of $110 on select purchases, such as heat pumps, air conditioning, furnaces, tankless water heaters, solar installations, generators, and more.
The recipients of a Barron KARES donation in the first six months this year are the EMS Foundation of Whatcom County, Camp Korey, Be The One, Friends of the Family Resource Center, Hunger vs. Hunger and the Lynden Heritage Museum, according to CEO Brad Barron.
“Our lives in Northwest Washington are enhanced by the amazing work of these organizations,” Barron said. “We’re pleased to support their staff and volunteers because their efforts resonate with the values of our team and communities.”
