Victims of interpersonal violence can call theĀ SDVSASĀ crisis line 24/7 atĀ (888) 336-9591Ā and talk with an advocate immediately.Ā Ā Those in danger or homeless due to abuse can stay at the SDVSAS emergency shelter.Ā Ā SDVSASĀ advocates are theĀ comforting presence in local hospital emergency rooms for sexual assaultĀ victims andĀ assistĀ victims with legal advocacy and safety planning.
As part of its mission to end domestic violence and sexual assault in our community through empowerment, advocacy, education,Ā awarenessĀ and prevention, SDVSAS advocatesĀ facilitateĀ prevention groups throughout Skagit at Boys and Girls Clubs, the Skagit Juvenile Detention Center, and local schools.Ā Preventing future abuse takes our entire community.Ā Ā This is your chance to be a part of making the Skagit community safer for everyone!
