Barron Plumbing adds sewer services for residential, commercial customers
Barron Plumbing recently expanded its capabilities, adding sewer line maintenance, repair and replacement services for residential and commercial customers, effective April 1.
“With an in-house licensed plumbing team already in place at Barron, supporting homeowners and business owners with their side sewer projects makes coordinating plumbing work simple and cost-effective,” said Brad Barron, CEO of parent company Barron Heating AC Electrical & Plumbing.
Barron said demand for residential sewer services are increasing due to the number of side sewers, which connect to a city’s sewer lines typically along the street, that are aging and made of older materials no longer meeting industry standards. Sewer lines older than 50 years that were made from cast iron, clay or Orangeburg (fiber) are particularly susceptible to deterioration or collapse, he added.
Thousands of homeowners in the Pacific Northwest are affected by side sewer challenges, Barron said. The most common challenges arise from root intrusion (by far the No. 1 issue), pipe deterioration / collapse (clay, cast iron, Orangeburg/fiber, and concrete), ground movement/settlement, debris/grease buildup, improper installation (older standards), and infiltration/inflow (rainwater problems).
Barron Plumbing offers a wide range of sewer-related services, including drain cleaning, locating lines, repairs and smoke testing for undesirable smells.
“We’re using modern pipe bursting and lining techniques that often can avoid digging unsightly trenches to reach affected lines and install new lines,” Barron said.
Committed to improving lives through its licensed technicians, electricians, plumbers, and Certified Home Performance Experts, Barron Heating AC Electrical & Plumbing provides a wide range of heating, cooling, solar, electrical, plumbing, and indoor air quality products and services. It also offers a large selection of stoves and fireplaces in its Firelight by Barron showroom.
